The Walt Disney Company revealed that its streaming platform, Disney Plus, reached nearly 30 million subscribers in just a few months of being live in the United States. The platform, which has yet to launch globally, has already amassed a cult following of die hard Disney fans as well as casual fans of franchises like Star Wars and Marvel.
Star Wars and Marvel, specifically, along with other networks like National Geographic, have played a pivotal role in acquiring subscribers that may be nostalgic fans of Disney but have no Children (or obsessions) to keep the subscription for.
Plus, with the rights to all of Twentieth Century Fox’s massive content library under its belt, Disney Plus is well on its way to becoming one of the most in-demand streaming platforms in the entertainment industry. For now, though, here is everything coming to Disney Plus February 2020.
