Drawing on her professional background in corporate management, Sarah K. Zambrotto is a distinguished expert in custom jewelry. Since 2015, she has served as the chief financial officer at Gold Galore Custom Jewelry Store, a world-class fine jewelry brand that crafts unforgettable pieces. Sarah’s leadership has contributed to the business’s expansion, growing it from a small operation to one that employs seven full-time staff members.

As chief financial officer, Sarah fulfills a range of responsibilities, including managing inventory, overseeing finances to ensure proper cash flow, and handling the wholesale aspects of the business via direct dealings with other dealers and business-to-business transactions. Her guidance has helped the store see a fourfold increase in revenue, building a strong foundation for its future. Additionally, Gold Galore Custom Jewelry Store was voted by the community to receive the People’s Choice Award for Best Jewelry Store and Best Jewelry Repair in the Tampa Bay area for 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Sarah’s academic achievements have been foundational to her professional success. She completed coursework in criminal psychology at the University of South Florida, an educational pursuit that strengthened her analytical skills and strategic thinking, which have proven pivotal in her success as a financial leader. She credits the unwavering support of her family as being instrumental in her professional achievements.

Before joining Gold Galore Custom Jewelry Store, Sarah spent nine years in the corporate world working for UnitedHealthcare Inc., where she advanced to corporate management roles. During this time, she worked closely with regional executives, assisting in addressing major issues. Her contributions earned her recognition among the top 1% of employees.

Sarah left the corporate world to spend more time with her family and embarked on a new professional journey by transitioning to Gold Galore Custom Jewelry Store. Since her family owns the business, she would now have the opportunity to be more present in their lives. She considers her most notable achievement to be the involvement of her children in the family business and takes great pride in their participation. While the company has been in operation for 42 years, her expertise has led to significant improvements. She hopes to continue this work for another 40 years, and her children are eager to carry on this legacy.

Outside of the Business

In addition to her professional endeavors, Sarah enjoys connecting with and mentoring others through industry-related organizations, such as her local chapter of BNI: Business Network International Global LLC, where she serves as secretary-treasurer. She is active within her community and serves as a guardian ad litem, advocating for the best interests of abused children. She also partners with various organizations to help members of the community.

Sarah enjoys traveling to see concerts with her husband as well as capturing images of sunrises, sunsets, and landscapes through nature photography. She is deeply dedicated to involving her two sons in the family business and is gratified by their enthusiasm for the work.

Looking to the future, Sarah aims for Gold Galore Custom Jewelry Store to reach $10 million in retail sales and expand by building another store. She believes in the value of leading by example, and that integrity is everything–that one must always remain true and honest, especially when running a small business. Finally, she hopes to own a McLaren or Ferrari, which underscores her dedication to achieving her financial goals.
