– Inspiring the Next Generation of Female Leaders –

The award-winning Theodora S.T.E.A.M. Girls, a line of dolls featuring five young girls in S.T.E.A.M., kicked off Women’s History Month with a bang, making an appearance at the most anticipated toy industry event of the year, Toy Fair. The show was attended by Theodora S.T.E.A.M. Girls founder Gayle Keller, a recent recipient of the Women in Toys Wonder Woman Award and champion for women in S.T.E.A.M. fields.

“The Toy Fair is the perfect platform to showcase Theodora S.T.E.A.M. Girls,” said Keller. “It’s also a nice touch that we are entering Women’s History Month considering my mission to inspire young minds and the future generation with these dolls. I believe that early exposure to S.T.E.A.M. subjects is how we encourage and empower young girls to step outside their comfort zone, embrace their genuine interests, and set them up for success throughout early childhood all the way to adulthood.”

As a woman in tech for more than 20 years, Gayle Keller is dedicated to empowering young girls to explore and pursue S.T.E.A.M.-related interests and careers. Her mission is to inspire the next generation of female leaders through play-based learning and representation. The collection features five high-quality, diverse 15-inch dolls, each with unique backgrounds and skill sets, representing one of the STEAM subjects — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Inspired by characters from her adult book, Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead, the line hopes to replace negative thinking patterns with positivity and inspiration for young girls.

“The inspiration for this line came from being a mother of two young girls. I wanted to be sure I am doing everything in my power to uplift and motivate their interests, and this goes beyond my own daughters,” continues Keller. “As the adults, we are the ones who need to provide the tools to our kids to become the next leaders. I want to be part of shaping the future for my daughters and little girls across the world.”

About Theodora S.T.E.A.M. Girls

Created in 2023 by former Microsoft sales executive Gayle Keller, the Theodora S.T.E.A.M. Girls is a line of diverse luxurious plush dolls that encourage young girls to explore the world of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Recognizing the imbalance between men and women in S.T.E.A.M. occupations, Keller felt passionately about empowering females to succeed, specifically teaching young girls about confidence. Based on characters from Gayle Keller’s international bestselling book, Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead: Triumphant Tales for Working Women to Overcome Adversity, Fear, and Self-Doubt, Silla, Tyriqa, Elaine, Antonia, and Maalika are role models for girls to follow their dreams and conquer the world while embracing their unique superpowers in every adventure presented to them.
