New smart hearing support system uses clip-on mics and a central processor to reduce ambient noise for restaurants, TV listening, and more

NEW YORK, NY (March 17, 2026) – The Studebaker AI Hearing System, a smart hearing support system built for places where ambient noise makes speech hard to follow, is now officially available on Amazon. The system pairs two clip-on microphones with in-ear earphones and a pocket-size central processor. It is designed for everyday situations, particularly noisy restaurants as well as in other settings including listening to your television in your own home, where people often strain to hear clearly.

The development of this AI Hearing System comes as more people are having problems hearing each other in busy, often hard-to-hear restaurants and this provides a simple and effective solution. For many, the real problem is the competing sound from the background and ambient noise in busy restaurants where there is presently no solution. While this was the primary reason for the creation of this innovative AI Hearing System from Studebaker, it can also be used in your own home when you have trouble hearing the television.

“I am indeed a victim of this problem of not being able to consistently hear what is being said when dining out with relatives and friends”, says Marino Andriani, President at Marino Andriani, LLC, a seasoned executive in the consumer electronics industry who then leveraged his experience in product development to create the Studebaker AI Hearing System. “This system overcomes this issue by blocking out the background and ambient noise and making it easier to listen to and speak with guests in a setting such as a restaurant,” he adds.

At the center of the Studebaker AI Hearing System is a central processor that receives voice signals from the clip-on microphones. It then reduces ambient noise before sending clearer speech to the in-ear earphones. Users can change volume with seven settings and use a mute option. A white three-digit battery display shows the remaining charge, and multi-color status lights show the battery state for the microphones and earphones.

The system is also built around simple, daily charging. The central processor holds a 2,000 mAh rechargeable battery and charges by Universal Serial Bus Type-C (USB-C). The microphones and earphones recharge from the processor, which helps keep all parts ready in one place. A charging base also supports wireless charging for the central processor.

For TV listening, the charging base includes a 3.5-millimeter auxiliary input so it can connect to a television. A RCA-to-3.5-millimeter audio cable is included for common TV setups. The in-ear earphones and clip-on microphones power on and connect using Bluetooth when removed from the central processor. The earphones also include three sets of silicone tips to help users find a better fit.

“We wanted to make this as easy to use as possible,” concludes Andriani. “All one has to do is take the mics and earphones out, clip the mic where you need it, and start listening. The goal is fewer steps and less fuss.”
