Recognized for her expertise in technology and operations, Krati Agrawal has been named a Top Professional by Marquis Who’s Who. Her career reflects a consistent trajectory of growth, leadership, and impact across some of the world’s most influential organizations.
Agrawal began building her foundation with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BITS Pilani in 2013, followed by a master’s degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan in 2016. During her graduate studies, she gained early industry experience as a global logistics improvement intern at Cummins Inc., where she developed a strong grounding in operational efficiency and process optimization.
In 2017, Agrawal joined Amazon as a pathways area manager, marking the start of a rapid and sustained rise within the company. Within a year, she advanced to pathways operations manager and, by 2019, she was promoted to senior operations manager. In 2020, she transitioned into Amazon Logistics Launch Planning as a regional launch planning manager, expanding her scope to include large-scale operational rollouts and cross-functional coordination.
Growing as a Leader at Amazon
During her early years at Amazon, Agrawal’s reserved demeanor was at times misinterpreted as a lack of leadership presence. Rather than allowing this perception to define her trajectory, she treated it as an opportunity to grow. She worked deliberately to strengthen her executive presence, assert her perspective, and demonstrate the strategic value of her ideas. Over time, her persistence and performance reshaped perceptions, establishing her as a respected and effective leader.
Her continued success led to her appointment in 2022 as senior manager of material handling equipment integration engineering. In this role, she led complex engineering integrations and drove critical operational initiatives, further solidifying her expertise in large-scale systems and infrastructure. She remained in this position until 2024, when she transitioned to a new phase of her career.
Driving Growth at TikTok
Since 2024, Agrawal has served as the North America lead for operations integration and new launch at TikTok. In this role, she is responsible for end-to-end program management, in-house systems enhancements, and launch lifecycle planning to support the platform’s continued expansion. Her work contributes to initiatives that impact more than 120 million users, with a particular focus on scaling operations and enabling new business capabilities across the region.
In addition to executing strategic initiatives, Agrawal is committed to developing future leaders within the organization. Drawing on her own professional journey, she mentors team members to build both technical expertise and leadership confidence.
Innovation and Recognition
Beyond her professional roles, Agrawal has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation. She is part of two internal Tata Motors patents, including a lifesaving system designed for trapped occupants in vehicle cabins, as well as a standardized process framework for PAT deliverables across Gen3 milestones. Her contributions to the tech industry have also been recognized by the Influential Women media platform.
Looking Ahead
Looking to the future, Agrawal aims to continue contributing to TikTok’s growth, particularly in advancing TikTok Shop and its evolving ecosystem. Over the longer term, she plans to leverage her experience in building and scaling operations to pursue entrepreneurial ventures. Together with her husband, she is exploring the possibility of starting something of their own within the next five to 10 years.
