Indico Capital Partners leads $5.5 million funding round, supporting Relive’s expansion in the U.S.

Austin, Texas, USA and Lisbon, Portugal – February 14, 2025 – Relive, a proptech company specializing in tools supporting real estate agents in renting, buying, and selling properties, has just announced a new funding round of $5.5 million. The Series A investment round was led by Indico Capital Partners, with participation from Shilling and Bynd. This funding will allow Relive to strengthen its team with strategic hires, accelerate the development of its technology platform, and expand from Texas, where it started, to multiple states, including Florida, Colorado, Georgia, among others.

José Costa Rodrigues states: “Relive has always been on a mission to create the real estate brokerage platform of the future, empowering a new generation of agents – Millennials and Gen Z – with digital tools and a strong social media presence to boost their businesses. Currently, the average age of a real estate agent in the U.S. is 50 years old. It’s a different generation, with valuable experience and an extensive physical network, but far removed from the reality and needs of a new generation of digital-savvy clients, aged between 20 and 40.”

Since its launch in the U.S., the startup platform has facilitated thousands of rental transactions, supported by more than 100 real estate agents in Austin, Dallas, and Houston, who work exclusively through the company’s platform. This new investment round will enable Relive to accelerate the development of the platform’s tools and create an effective pipeline of tens of thousands of rental clients, positioning itself as the number one rental platform for Gen Z and Millennials in the USA.

Stephan de Moraes, Indico´s Managing General Partner, stated: “It is essential to keep developing a collaborative platform that simplifies housing search, especially for younger generations who search for solutions in a very different way than others. We are proud to support Relive in this crucial investment for a successful expansion, helping to drive innovation and technology in an ever-evolving industry.”

The vision for Relive’s future is to become the leading technology and sales platform in the U.S. rental market, the world’s most competitive real estate market. The company aims to compete in the medium term with major players in the property buying and selling sector, such as Compass, eXP, and Real Brokerage. Part of Relive’s technology and operations team is based in Portugal and that team is set to expand in this round.
