To bring Instafloss to life, Eli delved deep into the science of flossing. He purchased periodontal textbooks and studied every research paper on water flossing from the past 50 years. This extensive research led him to conclude that water flossing could be more effective than traditional string flossing. Eli then co-founded Instafloss with Dr. Ralph Raud, a PhD engineer, and enlisted Dr. Ana Mascaranhas, the Chair of the American Dental Association Council of Scientific Affairs, as an advisor.
